About the Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute (ENRLI)

The ENRLI provides a focus for the development of energy and natural resources law, the training of energy lawyers through its specialist LLMs in Energy and Natural Resources Law programmes in Paris and London, and the promotion of a broader understanding of this important sector. James Dallas, Executive Director of the Institute, said “Our aim is to provide a first class student experience; with world class teaching and a broad curriculum, anchored in the real world of the sector”. We offer the student lectures by both academics and practitioners. Our teaching philosophy is “to blend academic and practitioner rigour”. Consequently, the student will learn how to apply the academic knowledge to real-world problems. We work with the leading international law firms, energy companies and energy consultancies to facilitate this approach.
